CAR OF THE YEAR 2024: Lotus Mark VIII by Modelant

On January 30, 2025, the awards ceremony of the Model Car Hall of Fame was held at the International Toy Fair in Nuremberg, where our Lotus Mark VIII has been chosen BEST SLOT CAR OF THE YEAR 2024.

Once the 4 finalists were chosen by a specialist jury made up of great personalities from the world of motorsport, the public vote has awarded us the award for best slot car among all the new products of the year 2024, for which we show our most sincere gratitude to all the voters and the jury.

This “world cup” rewards our thirteen years of work, in which we strive model after model to offer the best of ourselves, in the form of replicas as faithful as possible to the 1/32 scale, of historic cars that represent iconic moments of motorsport.

Our Lotus MK VIII embodies our philosophy of making 100% of the non-mechanical parts ourselves, completely by hand, one by one, from design to packaging.
